Board-Certified Ophthalmologist & Oculofacial Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Nabavi received his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego, and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute at the University of California, Irvine. He subsequently completed a two-year ASOPRS-accredited fellowship in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Callahan Eye Hospital.

Dr. Nabavi specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive oculofacial surgery and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University. He is also a faculty member at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where he participates in the training of ophthalmology residents and fellows in oculofacial plastic surgery.

Dr. Nabavi is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is an active member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and serves as an associate preceptor in the education of future oculofacial plastic surgeons.
