Celestine Gregerson, MD

Clinical Instructor and Oculoplastics Fellow

Dr. Gregerson is an ophthalmologist specializing in ophthalmic plastic and orbital reconstructive surgery at Columbia Irving Medical Center, Weill Cornell Medicine, Northwell Manhattan Eye Ear & Throat Institute, and NYU Langone Medical Center in Manhattan, New York City. Dr. Gregerson received her medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. She completed her internship and ophthalmology residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She is currently completing her ASOPRS fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and orbital reconstructive surgery in New York City, NY. 

In her current role as a clinical instructor at four academic institutions, she enjoys teaching and mentoring numerous residents and medical students. Dr. Gregerson applies her background in translational and basic science research on the biophysics of cell membranes, genetics, and induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) technology to applications within oculoplastic and orbital surgery. Her current research focuses on thyroid eye disease, the genetics of sphenoid wing meningiomas, and the biophysics of orbital surgery.
